What I Am – The Truth About How I Show Up

It’s important you know exactly what I do—and what I don’t—so you can decide if this is the kind of support you need.

Out of respect for your time and trust, I want to be fully transparent about the kind of help I offer—and what falls outside my lane.

I don’t like labels.
And I sure don’t wear titles like badges of honor.

But I know you need clarity.
And I respect you enough to give it to you straight.

So here’s what I am—so you know exactly who’s walking beside you.

You’re Not Alone

“You were never meant to walk this alone.”

Caring for a loved one with a dementia-related illness is one of the most physically demanding, emotionally draining, and isolating journeys anyone can face.

If you feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or like you’ve lost yourself in the process—I want you to know:

You’re not alone.
And it doesn’t have to stay this way.

I’m here to help you rediscover strength, peace, and purpose—while still providing the best care possible for your loved one.

But before we begin, let me clarify what I actually do—and what I don’t.

What I Am

I am a Coach.
According to the International Coaching Federation (ICF), coaching is a thought-provoking, creative partnership that helps people maximize their personal and professional potential.

A coach’s role is to:
• Clarify your goals
• Encourage discovery
• Draw out solutions
• Keep you accountable

It’s forward-focused. Not about the past—but about what’s possible next.

But I’m not just a coach. I’m more than that.

I am a Life Coach.
Life Coaching helps people take back control, rediscover who they are, and move toward a more fulfilled future.

I help caregivers clarify their vision, regain their identity, and move from chaos to clarity. We set goals, rebuild energy, and protect what matters most.

This isn’t therapy—it’s partnership. Less formal. More actionable. And focused on the road ahead.

But I’m not just a life coach, either.

I am a Mentor.
Mentors don’t lead with textbooks. They lead with scars. With stories. With lived experience.

A mentor is someone who’s walked the road—and now walks it with you.

I don’t counsel from a distance. I show up shoulder to shoulder—with truth, with faith, and with heart. I guide from personal experience, not clinical theory. I speak your language, because I’ve lived your reality.

I am an Advocate.

In today’s world, the word advocate often sounds watered down—reduced to someone who simply “supports a cause.” But that’s not its original meaning.

The word comes from Latin: ad, meaning “to,” and vocatus, meaning “called.” An advocate is “one who is called to stand alongside another”—to take their place, speak on their behalf, and offer help in any emergency that arises.

In Greek, the word is parakletos—a comforter. One who walks beside you. A helper always at hand with wisdom, counsel, and strength.

That’s what I aim to be for every caregiver I work with.

Not just a supporter.
But someone who shows up.
Stands beside you.
And fights for you—when you’re too tired to fight for yourself.

I am also a Certified Christian Coach.
My guidance is rooted in Biblical truth—not in religious fluff.

You won’t get preaching. You’ll get presence.
You’ll get honest help grounded in spiritual strength and real-world wisdom.
Because when your spirit’s depleted, the strategies alone aren’t enough.
You need faith-fueled resilience to make it through.

So yes, I am a Coach
Life Coach
Mentor
An Advocate
And a Certified Christian Coach.

But what I really offer—
Is presence.
Accountability.
Encouragement.
And strength drawn from faith, fire, and lived experience.

I combine the accountability of a coach with the heart of a mentor.
I don’t just give advice. I offer guidance, encouragement, and a presence that says: “You’re not in this alone.”

Because what most caregivers really need…
…isn’t a goal-setting session.
…isn’t a life plan.
…isn’t personal development jargon.

They need someone who’s walked this road.
Who speaks their language.
Who doesn’t flinch when things get hard.

Someone to journey with.
Someone who’s been a few miles ahead on this caregiving road—and knows where the potholes are.

I am a Caregiver Empowerment Coach, Mentor & Advocate—and I help burned-out, heartbroken caregivers find their strength again.

I help you rediscover hope.
Rebuild your identity.
Prevent burnout.
And stay present for your loved one without losing yourself.

When the caregiving season shifts—I’ll help you transition to what’s next.

I don’t fix.
I don’t sugarcoat.
I walk with you—until you remember how strong you really are.

Final Encouragement

If you’re looking for someone who gets it who’s lived it who can walk with you through the fire and not blink…

That’s what I do.
And that’s who I am.
